Bed and Breakfast accommodation (including Guesthouse accommodation) was traditionally for hosted accommodation offering one or several rooms with or without an ensuite and a hot breakfast the next morning. In recent years the lines have blurred as many places are not offering breakfast or leaving the ingredients for you to cook yourself but are still calling themselves Bed and Breakfast. In our view a Bed and Breakfast should be hosted and should provide a cooked breakfast. It would pay to ask what you are getting before you book. |
